Interesting that they mention the 6.2 late availability, but media reports indicates that for all 6.2L SUV and Pickups that an all new 8 speed auto will be used with the 6.2L. There is no mention of the 8 speed auto in the data above just a production delay.

Not sure why rear climate controls are really a big deal in a truck. The cab space is much less than in a van/suv. I could see it as a nice OPTION but really I don't see it that necessary.

Rear A/C vents in Arizona are crucial. I was shocked that by 2014 GM didn't realize this. Ram sure did though.

So My dealer just got some 2015 Silverado 1500 s not one no matter if ltz or even high country had chrome tow hooks.
another odd thing is the fog lamp bezels, only the Texas Edition and High country have chrome surround bezels all the rest including ltz z71 2lz has black plastic bezels even though the description for this level truck says "chrome accents"
the black plastic bezels look really cheap on a 53.000 $ truck I'm not big fan of chrome but here in this location it looks much better with chrome tow hooks and chrome surrounds...
the announcement says they will have chrome tow hooks so what's up with that ?

I did see a 2015 2500 hd high country with the new power camper mirrors, they are sweet now if gm. would make them power extend and retract they would actually get ahead of Ford and not always matching a few years later...c'mon lead don't follow !

What do you mean? My buddy has a brand new F-250 King Ranch crew diesel. His mirrors power extend and fold already.

I bought the only rally edition the dealer had, just wasn't crazy about the standard looking Silverado.
Absolutely love the truck, no comparison to my 09

actually with a silver ice metallic truck it looks pretty sweet. if you notice the edges are painted in silver just like the lower valance panel under the front license plate so its a match with a sliver truck, no matter the color of the truck these components are sliver. I like the new grill for the z71 ltz the chrome fins add a good contrast.
I would like to see the two custom grills available at the end of the build process.
Color match perimeter and black out mesh grill sounds interesting.

I like the HD radio on my 14 and find it very useful with great sound quality. Perhaps my experience is better than others because I live in a major metropolitan area.
Rear seat A/C seats are overdue.
Auto up-down on all windows would be nice.
Needs a headrest in the center of the back seat.
Auto door re-lock if the remote unlock button is pressed but no doors are opened is also overdue, other manufacturers have had this for years.
